Course Title: Plastic Surgery - Fresno
Course Description: This course will provide comprehensive exposure to pediatric plastic surgery, serving California's growing Central Valley pediatric population. The primary focus of this elective is clinical. Interested students may pursue clinical research projects. This course does NOT include exposure to cosmetic surgery. Topics include: wound healing, maxillofacial trauma, craniofacial surgery, upper extremity/hand surgery, vascular anomalies, burn reconstruction and pediatric breast reconstructive surgery.
Prerequisites: Satisfactory Completion of core rotations in Surgery and Pediatrics.
