Course Title: Adv Inpatient Pediatrics
Course Description: To provide exposure to typical pediatric inpatients in a setting where the student assumes primary responsibility for initial evaluations, diagnostic procedures, and ongoing management of patients. Students are assigned patient work-ups, participate fully in team work and teaching rounds, attend conferences, and are on night call with the resident.
Prerequisites: Pediatrics 110, Medicine 110, and consent of instructor.
Restrictions: Restricted to 1-2 students per block.
