Course Description: This course focuses on the structure, properties and mechanism of drugs used in antibacterial, antifungal, antiparasitic, antiviral and anticancer therapies. Emphasis is also placed on mechanisms of resistance and means of avoiding or circumventing resistance.
Prerequisites: Third-year standing in School of Pharmacy, PharmD program or consent of instructor.
