Course Description: This clerkship provides intensive burn exposure at a Regional Burn Center. Learn burn wound care, infection control of burns, resuscitative management and hemodynamic monitoring with emphasis on appropriate nutritional and metabolic support. The student also participates in plastic and reconstructive surgery including hand injury repair during this clerkship.
Prerequisites: Surgery 110
Restrictions: 4th year standing.
