Course Description: This course will improve students' understanding of the impact of policy on clinical care and pharmacy practice and enhance students' willingness to become pharmacist leaders. Students will acquire the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to: A) advocate in efforts to expand pharmacy practice; B) make the profession more visible in the context of health care reform initiatives; and C) achieve leadership positions both within, and outside of, pharmacy organizations.
