Course Description: The interrelated professional roles of the dental hygienist include clinician, educator, administrator or manager, advocate and researcher. Effective dental hygiene leadership requires self knowledge and skills to work effectively with and through people. Developing an effective leadership style and presence will be facilitated through use of a leadership model and relevant activities and exercises designed for application to dental hygiene professional roles/dental hygiene led environments
Prerequisites: DH200A DH202A DPH210
Restrictions: Open only to students enrolled in the MS-DH program or by consent of program director.
