Course Description: The purpose of this on-line pharmacology course is to provide advanced practice nursing students with an overview of physiologic changes in pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics and drug-drug interactions across the life span, as well as legal, regulatory and safety issues related to prescribing in advanced practice nursing. Students will apply these principles to antibiotic prescribing and proper use of controlled substances.
Prerequisites: The course is to be taken concurrently with either N232.02, N232.04A, or N232.07A.
