Course Description: This course introduces students to the comparative study of global health care systems and policies, drawing from the fields of public policy, health care economics, public health, sociology, ethics and history. Includes health care systems/policies of industrialized and industrializing nations and examines the new federal health law and alternative models of reform. Combines lecture, discussion, and policy analysis.
