Course Description: Decision making involves weighing benefits, risks and costs of therapeutic and policy alternatives. Students will learn expected value decision analysis through the use of a decison analysis. The emphasis of the required project will be either technology assessment, particularly cost-effectiveness analysis or optimization of therapeutic strategies.
Prerequisites: Consent of instructor. Priority given to students in the Health Policy and Management Pathway.
