Course Description: This course is intended for students who already have acquired, or concurrently are acquiring a basic understanding of the principles and methods of epidemiology, and who now wish to apply this knowledge to the study of the epidemiology of neoplastic diseases. Enrollment will be limited to 15 students. This is a 2 part course that extends over to the spring quarter, beginning with EPI 252A, followed by EPI 252B.
Prerequisites: EPI 203 (Epidemiologic Methods I) or equivalent. Students are also encouraged to take EPI 217 or Berkeley course 256 Genetic Epidemiology (or equivalent experience).
