Course Description: This course examines the economic structures of the health care delivery system to highlight the impact of competition and regulation on the healthcare costs as experienced by payers, providers, and patients. It examines alternative forms of contracting and organizational structures that shape the economic performance of the healthcare system and the organizations within that system and examines recent changes in the health insurance and healthcare delivery markets.
Prerequisites: Enrollment in the MS HPL program
Restrictions: Only students enrolled in the MS HPL program can enroll in Policy Law courses
