Course Description: This is a Bridges Curriculum Clinical Immersive Experience (CIEx), which provide medical students in Foundations 2 opportunities to broaden and enhance their professional development in health care settings different from those of their core clerkships. Students will be mentored by a clinician who provides care to medically fragile patients with developmental disabilities in the community. Services will be delivered in a number of settings, including group homes, clinics, and community sites.
