Course Description: This is a Bridges Curriculum Clinical Immersive Experience (CIEx), which provide medical students in Foundations 2 opportunities to broaden and enhance their professional development in health care settings different from those of their core clerkships. This rotation is an introduction to public health practice as conducted in local Bay Area health departments. Students will be exposed to the daily life of a public health officer with potential for more in-depth exposure in areas of interest.
