Course Description: The DEI Academic Leadership course will offer training in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and leadership to prepare graduate students to incorporate DEI values in scientific leadership roles. Through exposure to terminology, history, theories, self-reflection, and critical discussion, this course aims to develop and apply foundational principles to become a DEI leader in academic institutions and scientific enterprises. Students must submit an application prior to course enrollment.
