Course Description: A hospital-based clinical experience on the Palliative Care Service focused on the care of patients with serious, chronic and terminal illness emphasizing symptom management, communication, ethical issues, spiritual care and psychosocial support of patients and their families. Students will have the opportunity to care for patients with serious and life-threatening illness.
