Course Description: The Endocrine-Metabolic Service provides an introduction to the diagnosis and treatment of endocrine disorders including diabetes in the inpatient and outpatient setting. Students will see patients on daily consultation rounds and in two weekly clinics. Didactics include preclinic conferences, endocrine grand rounds, a fellows lecture series and a thyroid pathology conference.
Prerequisites: Medicine 110 and fourth-year standing
