Course Description: This course offers students the opportunity to conduct research in preparation for their qualifying examination under the supervision and mentorship of faculty, usually the student's advisor or qualifying examination committee member(s).
Prerequisites: Admission to doctoral study, completion of PhD core foundational coursework, and consent of instructor.
Restrictions: Students enroll in this course prior to advancing to candidacy, while preparing for their written and oral qualifying examination.
