Course Description: A prevention focused course for nurses, medical residents, ergonomists, safety engineers, and industrial hygienists emphasizing the identification of safety hazards of work; the components of an injury and illness prevention program; the principles of safety hazards controls; the principles of accident investigation; the essentials of safety inspections and audits; and job analysis and prevention methods.
Prerequisites: Consent of instructor.
