Course Description: Four-week clerkship offering: 1 week at Moffitt-Long hospitals, 1 week at Veterans Affairs Medical Center, & 2 weeks at San Francisco General Hospital. During their week at the VAMC students participate in a wide variety of cases including major cardiac and vascular surgery. Students two weeks at SFGH are split between 1 week of cases during the day & 1 week of overnight call. This experience allows students to participate in the care of the underserved & of trauma patients.
Prerequisites: Anesthesia 110.
Restrictions: 4th year medical students.
