Course Description: The student will provide antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care of pregnant women, demonstrating competency on how to do a vaginal delivery under supervision. The student will participate in the operating room with ambulatory as well as major surgeries. The student will work with faculty preceptors and will demonstrate competency in the well woman exam, contraceptive counseling and osteoporosis counseling.
Prerequisites: Third-year standing.
Restrictions: UCSF 3rd and 4th year medical students only.
