Course Description: Students will rotate through various subspecialty services in the department of Anatomic Pathology with exposure to specimen grossing, faculty sign-out and rapid diagnostic services such as frozen section and fine needle aspiration. Students will learn the basics of histology and principles of pathologic staging. The rotation may be tailored to the special interests of particular students.
Prerequisites: Consent of faculty member in charge of students research project and approval of Dr. Raga Ramachandran elective director.
Restrictions: Completion of 3rd year clerkships.
