Course Description: This course will provide students with exposure to a full range of congenital and acquired heart disease from infants to young adults. The main objective of the rotation is to provide a basic understanding of pathophysiology, diagnosis, and management of common and critical types of congenital heart disease. The 4-week elective is divided between inpatient and outpatient experiences to provide a wide range of exposure.
Prerequisites: Medicine 110 and Pediatrics 110
