Course Description: Student will function as an integral part of the Pediatric Hematology consult service at UCSF Children's Hospital. Student will acquire a body of knowledge relating to the diagnosis and treatment of various pediatric hematologic disorders and will gain expertise in communicating with children and families about these conditions. This is primarily an inpatient consult service, although there may be some outpatient consultations or clinic sessions.
Prerequisites: Medicine 110 and Pediatrics 110
