Course Description: This elective rotation for 3rd or 4th year medical students will cover basic areas of knowledge needed for child abuse consultation. The rotation will include: being on call for child abuse consult exams; involvement with ongoing cases in the medical or legal system; weekly lectures covering required reading on basic topics; visits with various agencies involved with child protection.
Prerequisites: Pediatrics Core Rotation.
Restrictions: None.
