Course Description: Students learn to evaluate and care for children with rheumatologic disorders. This course emphasizes performing the musculoskeletal exam, understanding diagnostic testing in rheumatology, developing a differential diagnosis for children presenting with inflammatory symptoms and/or pain, and approach to the care of children with chronic disease. Students will also be exposed to ongoing clinical research studies in pediatric rheumatology.
