Course Description: Postgraduate students act as discussion group leaders for 60 assigned topics over 2 years (6 terms). Course has total of 12 units (2 hours a week; 20 hours/2 units per quarter). With faculty mentor guidance, students review the literature, develop a seminar outline/objectives, and lead group discussions. Emphasis is placed on developing the skills necessary for critical analysis of periodontal and associated biomedical literature.
Prerequisites: None.
Restrictions: Course only open to postgraduate students enrolled in the first or second year of the postgraduate program in Periodontology, School of Dentistry.
