Course Description: This clinic experience provides advanced training in providing clinic care to patients requiring periodontal surgical treatment. Students are expected to apply their knowledge of diagnostic modalities, surgical procedures, and strategies to perform surgical procedures including management of periodontal diseases and simple implant placement. Emphasis and expectations shift each quarter as student advances.
Prerequisites: PERIODONT 429.01
Restrictions: Enrollment in 2nd year of the postgraduate periodontology program.
