Course Description: This a survey course on pharmacological topics that are relevant to rehabilitation and physical therapy and covers topics such as principles, indications and adverse reactions to medications commonly used to manage neuromusculoskeletal and cardiopulmonary conditions. Effects of exercise on drug metabolism and drug interactions are also presented.
Prerequisites: Successful completion of first year in Physical Therapy program.
