Course Description: This course will emphasize Mineralized Tissues and the use of Biomaterials for the Craniofacial Complex. Focus is on understanding diverse aspects of craniofacial development, in particular the biology and engineering of mineralized tissue including the formation of specialized matrices which enable biomineralization, stem cell biology and morphogenesis, as well as etiologies of diseases and clinical approaches to tissue or organ repair.
Prerequisites: Enrollment in a postgraduate program.
