Course Description: This course is designed for students interested in either Obstetrics/Gynecology or Anesthesia as it relates to Women's Health. The clerkship views labor & delivery from the anesthesia perspective, with emphasis on physiology, pharmacology & specific disease processes of pregnancy.The educational & skills objectives are defined by the principles & practice of obstetric anesthesia.The student's goal is to become a more knowledgeable, more skilled & more effective physician in an obstetric unit.
Prerequisites: ANE PERIOP 110, OB GYN R S 110
