Course Description: Students will treat and follow-up patients when they are admitted to the surgical service. Students are expected to take calls once a week and participate in team rounds, in clinics, and in the operating room. Students will work both in the inpatient service and the outpatient clinic. Students are expected to do work-ups on the patients who present with acute surgical illness.
Prerequisites: Third-year standing.
Restrictions: UCSF medical students only.
