Course Description: This clerkship is an extensive exposure at a level I Trauma Center caring for a broad spectrum of blunt and penetrating injuries. The students serve as active interns evaluating and managing emergency surgery and trauma patients in the ED, OR and ICU. Students will learn the principles of Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS).
Prerequisites: Surgery 110
Restrictions: 4th year standing.
