Course Description: Intensive exposure to the broad spectrum of conditions encountered in the practice of general and trauma surgery at a Level 1 Trauma Center with hands-on experience in ED, operating room, hospital floor (including ICU), and clinic settings. Students will participate in the pre- and post-operative care of patients with a wide range of trauma and acute surgical emergencies.
Prerequisites: Surgery 110 and Medicine 110
