Course Description: This skills lab will prepare the advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) to plan for and provide care for neonatal patients across neonatal care settings, from convalescence through acute illness. Integration of theoretical concepts with neonatal physiology and pathophysiology will be supported through interactive exercises that develop assessment and management skills necessary for practice in the neonatal care setting. Development of skills in neonatal procedures.
Prerequisites: None.
