Course Description: Development of expertise and skills necessary to become a dental hygiene education scholar will be facilitated in this course series. Graduate learners will actively engage in the teaching/learning process. The steps of effective curriculum development will be analyzed and applied. Emphasis is placed on basic preparation dental hygiene education programs’ curricula design; philosophy, conceptual frameworks, goals, competencies and outcomes.
Prerequisites: None.
Restrictions: Open only to students enrolled in the MS-DH program or by consent of program director.
