Course Description: MS Dental Hygiene learners desiring teaching experience may elect to assist a faculty member in a basic preparation dental hygiene, dental assisting, or dental educational program. Graduate learners will collaborate with a faculty advisor to identify an appropriate program site, as well as, an external supervising faculty mentor. Teaching opportunities also exist with the UCSF Interprofessional Education Program or in the Periodontal Clinic assisting residents and participating in case studies.
Prerequisites: DH 200A DH 202A DPH 210
Restrictions: Must be enrolled in the Master of Science program in Dental Hygiene and requires consent of instructor
