Course Description: The course explores advanced topics in nurse-midwifery care including, management of chronic illness, trauma, triage and obstetric complications during pregnancy and childbirth. The class builds on prior courses. Nurse-midwifery assessment and management will be fostered using interactive lectures and case studies.
Prerequisites: NURSING 281A, NURSING 281B, NURSING 282A, NURSING 282B, or consent of instructor.
