Course Description: This course provides students with the basic skills needed to conduct critical appraisals of studies of experimental and observational designs. Emphasis is placed on the criteria that can be used to evaluate the validity of research methods and to understand what the results mean. Students will gain hands-on experience in using these methods by critiquing published research studies during small group sessions.
Prerequisites: Required core statistics (BPS 112) course for pharmacy students
