Course Description: This course will provide discussions and practical sessions that will enhance understanding and skill levels in selected areas of clinical practice. Topics include adverse drug reactions, medication errors, communications with health care providers and patients, medication compliance, provision of pharmaceutical care in multiple environments, professionalism, physical assessment, body substance precautions and the relationships between culture, race and gender to pharmaceutical care.
Prerequisites: Successful completion of all first-year, second-year, and Fall quarter third-year core (required) courses.
