Course Description: This course presents a review of core concepts of health economics and emphasizes financial management, including aspects of managerial accounting such as balance sheets, income statements, cash flow streams and relevance of credit ratings to borrowers and lenders. Students will conduct a capital budgeting analyses. Case studies, targeted discussion questions, readings, lectures and written assignments support decisions leaders make in healthcare organizations.
