Course Description: The fourth year elective in hospital medicine is a two week clerkship experience on the Faculty Inpatient Service at San Francisco General Hospital, an attending staffed hospitalist service. Students will work under the direct supervision of faculty hospitalists to provide care for underserved adult medicine inpatients at SFGH, improving their diagnostic and therapeutic skills and engaging in multidisciplinary care.
Prerequisites: Must be a 4th-year medical student, and received a passing grade on the required 4th-year medicine sub-internship
