Course Description: The basic science journal club is a student led course designed to investigate cutting edge research in the basic sciences and its implications for translational and clinical care. Open to health professional students and required of 1st year MSTP students, each participant chooses, researches, and presents a recent journal article of their choosing and facilitates a discussion with the entire class at least once throughout the year.
