Course Description: Medical students who completed the OR Assist- Surgical Training for Medical Students (Surgery 160.02) are invited to improve and practice their basic surgical knot tying and suturing skills. Students will attend five additional classes in the Surgical Skills Lab taught by attendings and residents in the surgery department, and are expected to practice outside of these sessions with their own equipment. A final assessment will be held at the completion of the course.
