Course Description: Development of expertise and skills necessary to become a dental hygiene education scholar in preparation for roles in academia, public health and/or the oral healthcare industry will be facilitated in this course series. Graduate learners will actively engage in the teaching/learning process. Emphasis is placed on methods of instruction and assessment based on learning theories, evidenced based reviews of educational and dental hygiene topics, and existing best practices.
Prerequisites: DH200A, DH202A, DPH210
Restrictions: Open only to students enrolled in the MS-DH program or by consent of program director.
