Course Description: The focus of this elective is promoting education about health sciences in under-represented communities via service learning. UCSF students will learn how to mentor, design curriculum, and teach by interacting with under-represented high school sophomores in an 8-session program. This is an interdisciplinary elective involving students from schools of medicine, nursing, dental, pharmacy and physical therapy.
