Course Description: This course is intended to expose students to cutting edge discovery and inquiry opportunities in UCSF with lecture topics focused on biomedical, clinical, social and behavioral, and systems science. Lectures reflect the diversity of research conducted at UCSF. This elective consists of lectures, paireadings from the literature, and small group discussions. Students will produce a paper presenting their ideas and conclusions about how the topic could contribute to therapeutic pract
