Course Description: US Healthcare System and the Law, Part 2 focuses on public healthcare regulation and finance, and will provide an overview of Medicare, Medicaid and other federal and state funded health care payors, including the laws protecting against healthcare fraud, waste and abuse. The course also considers how healthcare delivery, payment and regulation changed and how they are treated under the Affordable Care Act and how the US System compares to those of other countries post-ACA.
Prerequisites: Enrollment in the MS HPL program
Restrictions: Only students enrolled in the MS HPL program can enroll in Policy Law courses
