Course Description: Course focuses on integrating commonly used statistical analysis techniques and clinical, health and epidemiological research studies. It provides didactic training and lab demonstrations of different statistical analyses for monitoring patterns, causes, and effects of health and disease conditions in defined populations; investigating predictors of health; evaluating the efficacy of interventions; and interpretation of findings from analyses. It also provides an overview of study methods.
Prerequisites: BIOSTAT 187, NURSING 209B
