Course Description: This problem-solving course focuses on the application of community-based participatory research (CBPR) principles and methods with diverse populations. An overview of CBPR and its epistemological and ontological underpinnings and relevance to nursing and public health are presented. The course also addresses ethical, validity and rigor issues in CBPR.
