Course Description: This elective will provide exposure to common teaching models used in the clinical setting. Specifically, students will learn about the One-Minute Preceptor Model for teaching in the outpatient setting and the SNAPPS model. The session will also cover the provision of feedback during a teaching encounter, as well as how to teach efficiently in challenging teaching situations. Students in this course will explore important elements of an academic teaching career in the clinical setting.
